Service (full–time)

Do you speak both English and Czech perfectly and have experience in restaurant service? Are you communicative and motivated by customer satisfaction? Write to us!

This position provides a direct link between the kitchen, bar, and guests. Your responsibilities include welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Main duties include:
• Greeting and seating guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Providing information about the menu, recommending dishes and drinks
• Handling complaints and guest requests
• Following operational standards and maintaining a clean workspace
• Collaborating with colleagues across the team
• Reporting needs and identified issues to management
• Participating in necessary training sessions and staff meetings

Chef / Chef de partie (full–time)

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate chef with an interest in modern gastronomy and a desire for continuous improvement. Someone who combines passion with discipline, humility, and strong communication skills. Could that be you?

Position overview:
You will independently prepare dishes according to assigned tasks and sections, following recipes and established quality standards. You’ll be responsible for the accuracy, taste, and presentation of the dishes.

Main duties include:
• Taking responsibility for the preparation of dishes and kitchen products
• Working independently on culinary tasks and activities related to kitchen operations
• Following recipes, ensuring quality, and maintaining established standards
• Keeping the workspace clean and monitoring HACCP standards
• Performing regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment and tools
• Keeping track of operations, stock levels, and related needs
• Collaborating with fellow kitchen and service team members
• Reporting needs and identified issues to management
• Participating in required training sessions and staff meetings

Pastry Chef / Baker

Are you creative? Do you have Czech koláče, laminated (plunder) dough, cream puffs, or sweet rolls at your fingertips—and aren’t afraid to give traditional desserts a subtle twist? Do you have strong organizational skills and feel confident managing recipes, planning production, and collaborating with the rest of the kitchen team? Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing desserts for the ALMA café and supporting restaurant service

  • Responsibility for the preparation of desserts and baked goods

  • Working independently on pastry and baking tasks, as well as related duties

  • Maintaining a clean workstation and ensuring HACCP standards are met

  • Regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools

  • Keeping track of daily operations and stock levels

Barista

Do you enjoy working with specialty coffee and smiling at people? Can you set up a coffee machine and prepare the perfect batch brew? Would you like to become part of a team in the beautiful environment of our café at ALMA? Write to us!

The role specializes in the preparation of coffee and coffee-based beverages. The barista is an expert in the product, extraction, and working with professional coffee equipment. In addition to technical skills, they should also excel in communication and provide all guests with a pleasant experience.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for preparing beverages and bar products

  • Independence in performing bar duties and tasks related to bar operations

  • Adhering to recipes, quality standards, and agreed procedures

  • Maintaining a clean workspace and following HACCP standards

  • Keeping track of daily operations, stock levels, etc.

  • Cooperating with other colleagues on the floor and in operations

  • Reporting needs and identified issues to management

  • Participating in required training sessions and work meetings

Independent Chef (m/f) – ALMA Café

We are expanding our beautiful café with a small kitchen and are looking for an independent person who not only cooks exceptionally well but also has strong organizational skills and can manage their work efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working 15 days per month, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Independent preparation of dishes for the café

  • Opportunity to contribute to menu development

  • Cooperation with the restaurant kitchen at ALMA

  • Preparing simple yet detail-oriented café dishes

  • Responsibility for the preparation of meals and kitchen products

  • Working independently on cooking tasks and duties related to kitchen operations

  • Following recipes, quality guidelines, and established standards

  • Maintaining a clean workstation and ensuring HACCP standards are met

  • Regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools

  • Keeping track of daily operations and stock levels

  • Collaborating with other kitchen and operations colleagues

Receptionist (full–time)

We’re looking for colleague at the restaurant reception in Alma. If you have a pleasant demeanor, excellent English, basic computer skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Position overview:
The receptionist handles and manages reservations, answers guest inquiries, and escorts guests to their tables.

Main duties include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of all reservations entered into the system

  • Coordinating the seating of walk-in guests during service

  • Taking care of the cloakroom — receiving and returning guests’ coats and belongings

  • Answering phone and email inquiries, including handling reservation requests and other questions

  • Making sure the restaurant is properly set up before lunch and dinner service

  • Providing the first point of contact for guests and escorting them to their tables
